Call for Entry 2012 coming in September of 2011.
Dear Artists,
We are excited to announce that the call for entry for Art Around the Corner 2012 is now available at our website www.artaroundthecorner.org.
We appreciate those who have submitted entries in years past, and invite those who are unfamiliar with Art Around the Corner to check out our website, or even better, come visit us in sunny St. George, Utah!
Art Around the Corner is a highly successful non-profit outdoor sculpture exhibit. Submissions are judged based on merit and appropriateness for outdoor public art display. If accepted, your sculpture will be exhibited in St. George’s newly renovated and very popular downtown historic district. The exhibit rotates annually in the spring.
It is always our goal to sell as many sculptures from the show as possible. Historically, we have done very well at this, which is one reason so many artists continue with us year after year. Since its inception seven years ago, Art Around the Corner has sold 33 sculptures.
We hope you will consider sharing your work with us. The call for entry deadline is October 29, with notifications going out to those artists who’s pieces are chosen after the holidays, and our gala and installation taking place the weekend of March 22nd. If you are unable to complete the call for entry application online, please contact me, and we will happily make alternative arrangements for you.
