Three year-old Mason struck this fireman's pose while chasing his brother and sculptor Dan around the yard with the hose. This interactive bronze sculpture is plumbed to spray water when attached to a standard garden hose and is equally at home displayed in the back yard or a public setting like a fire station.
Dan’s sculpture career began with retirement from his landscape business in 1995. Two years later he carved out a niche, sculpting his first life-size composition of a child. He has created an impressive portfolio of life-size sculpture, and continues to work from his studio at the Hill Gallery and Sculpture Park in Sandy, Utah. Dan was born in SLC, Utah in 1929.
