A boy and a girl sit together back to back on the top of a globe. They are each engrossed in the open book in their lap. The world is a detailed sculpted illustration including continents, trade winds, ocean currents, longitude and latitude lines.
Annette Whitaker Everett received her art education at BYU, the University of Utah and the Art Academy of Cincinnati. Her first studio in downtown Saint George was a classroom, workshop, and creative sanctuary for many years until she built her own studio, Pomegranate Studio, in her backyard. Annette now works in clay creating figurative pieces in bronze from maquette size to monument size.
